After series of engine failure in RB211-524 equipped Boeing 747-400 due to five high-pressure blade one failure, Qantas is modifying its 84 engines according to RR's recommendation. Qantas is currently using RB211-524G/H-T. Process is to be completed by 2010.
Similar engine type has known to have similar failure in 11 other cases.
콴타스가 자사의 일부 747-400에 장착된 RB211-524의 고압블레이드 오작동으로 인한 엔진 사고 이후 2010년 까지 84기의 엔진을 모두 RR's의 권고에 따라 개량하겠다고 밝혔습니다.
